DOA Policy

Paris Reef Shop guarantees live arrival of all saltwater livestock we ship – including fish, corals, and invertebrates – on orders within Canada. In the event that an animal is Dead on Arrival (DOA), the customer must notify us within 2 hours of delivery (based on the carrier’s delivery confirmation time). Video proof is required: please take a clear video of the unopened shipping box being opened and the sealed bag showing the DOA livestock inside. Once we receive and verify this evidence, we will issue a store credit for the full purchase price of the lost livestock (note: shipping costs are not credited or refunded). We do not offer cash refunds for DOA claims. This DOA guarantee applies only to shipments within Canada and is void if the 2-hour reporting window is exceeded or if the required video proof is not provided. Do not dispose of the DOA specimen until our team instructs you, as we may need it for verification. Paris Reef Shop is not responsible for DOA due to carrier delay.
