Emerald Crab

* Scavenging Ability: Emerald Crabs are efficient scavengers that feed on uneaten food and various types of nuisance algae, including bubble algae.
* Identification: They are easily recognizable by their flat, shiny green body and hairy legs.
* Habitat: Native to the Caribbean, they prefer well-established aquariums with plenty of rockwork and hiding places.
* Diet: While they primarily feed on algae and detritus, they may require supplemental feeding with dried seaweed, meaty foods, and fish food to prevent them from targeting other tank inhabitants.
* Compatibility: Generally peaceful, they are compatible with other reef inhabitants when well-fed and kept in stable water conditions. However, they are sensitive to copper-based medications and water parameter fluctuations.
